Two studios,
one life.

Zane Bieza

Zane paints at night. By day, she leads engineering teams. Latvian by birth, based in Chemnitz — trained in art history in Braunschweig and computer science in Chemnitz. A route between the two studios she still keeps.

Six years at Staffbase, from Scrum Master to Engineering Manager. The paintings are what the leadership work leaves behind.

Two crafts, same instinct: know when to add, when to scrape back, when to start again.

    Post-acquisition integration, one-year greenfield build, and a sustained incident response — in parallel. $3M budget. Grew 5 engineers in seniority; mentored one into an EM role.

    Co-led org-wide OKR adoption. TPM for the Dirico post-merger integration. Facilitated the 2023 global Product Department kickoff for 300+ employees. Founded the Women in Tech ERG.
